Type 1 Diabetes
This type of diabetes is also known as insulin-dependent diabetes. The pancreas cannot produce the insulin the body needs in this type. As the insulin amounts get low, the glucose level gets high and causes different health problems.
There hasn’t been any permanent treatment discovered for Type 1 Diabetes. The patient has to follow a particular lifestyle. Avoid sugar-rich food items and take insulin medication regularly.
Type 2 Diabetes
The other name of this type is insulin Resistant diabetes. As the title mentions, the cells don’t respond to insulin in this condition. The pancreas produces a high quantity of insulin, but the cells resist it.
In Type 2 Diabetes, the pancreas becomes non-functioning over time, and the sugar levels increase. This condition will lead to other dangerous health problems like heart disease, kidney disease, and vision loss.
